Both the cage and the bumpers slide up and back. Also remove the two rubber bumpers on the side of the RAM. Replace the RAM: This involves removing four screws around the RAM cage. Remove these two with care, and then gently slide the motherboard out in the direction of the ports. There are two connectors near the back of the motherboard.
